• Mary Elizabeth “Beth” Betts, 87, of Highlands, NC, died on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013. A memorial in celebration of her life will be held on Jan. 27 at 1 p.m. at Wesley Woods of Newnan-Peachtree City.

• Robert S. Britt died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at his residence. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and have been entrusted to Sellers-Smith Funeral Home Inc., Newnan, GA.

• Marie Hendrix, 71, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, in LaGrange, GA. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, at McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan. The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
