Senior Living: Program for seniors, caregivers at Carnegie

Local retirement facility Benton House will present a program for seniors and caregivers Jan. 17 at the Newnan Carnegie Library. Refreshments will be served.

The workshop will focus on “The Five Biggest Challenges Facing Seniors and How Families Can Help.” It will be held at 2:30 p.m. at the Carnegie, 1 LaGrange St. in downtown Newnan. Seating is limited and reservations are requested by Jan. 15. Free tickets will be provided to family caregivers.

As part of its philosophy of service, Benton House has recently partnered with a major research firm to study the important trends impacting successful aging.

At the program, presenters will share:

— What to expect with aging parents.

— Caregiving information and impacts.

— Tips and tools to assist your loved one.
