The Oaks Farms of Newnan is a new member of the American Angus Association.
The American Angus Association, with more than 25,000 active adult and junior members, is the largest beef breed association in the world. Its computerized records include detailed information on more than 17 million registered Angus.
The association records ancestral information, keeps production records on individual animals, and develops industry-leading selection tools for its members. These programs and services help members select and mate the best animals in their herds to produce quality genetics for the beef cattle industry and quality beef for consumers.

A Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting was recently held for DaVita Dialysis on Bullsboro Drive.

Wyndham supports Can-A-Thon
The employees at the Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center in Peachtree City recently sponsored a canned food drive to support the Coweta Community Food Pantry.
Thanks to the support of Wyndham employees, they reached their goal and filled the Wyndham Peachtree bus with several boxes of non-perishable food.
“The employees were very excited about helping this organization and giving back to the community,” said Mary Prine, executive administrative assistant. “It was an enriching and fulfilling venture for the employees, who want to continue to do this not only during the holidays but also in the summer months.”
