From Staff Reports
Relay For Life of Coweta County is a life-changing event that gives everyone in the community a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer.
Participants use the opportunities provided by the event to remember loved ones lost as well as help patients and medical researches fight back against the disease.
Volunteers and American Cancer Society staff are now preparing for the 2013 Relay For Life Coweta County kick-off meeting.
Anyone interested in starting a team or participating individually in The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Coweta County is encouraged to join the kickoff. Festivities are planned for Jan. 15 at 6:30 p.m. at the Newnan First Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 33 Greenville St. in Newnan.
If you have never participated in Relay For Life of Coweta County before, this is your chance to come out, learn about the event, and help fight cancer.
