Mr. Jerry Parker

Mr. Jerry Parker, age 70, was cremated per his request; a memorial service will be held at a later date.

“Greyeagle” was his Native American name from birth, meaning a chief of the bird clan of Eastern Cherokee nation. He was born somewhere near Seminole, FL, and lived his life in FL, GA, and New Mexico.

He was married several times and is survived by nine loving children. His firstborn son, Keith, his first daughter, Kimberly, Jerry Dean Jr., Colleen, Sherry, Jeanie, Angie, Aaron, and Sean. He was deeply loved by all of them and he loved us all. He once stated, “I have had a good life, no regrets,” and he wasn’t afraid of death. He didn’t say goodbye; he just crossed over to a better place with His Lord, and the Great Spirit. Now he can truly run, jump, and dance on the streets of gold, no more pain to endure. As I, Kimmy, write this I can hear him say, “Live life to its fullest. Laugh a lot, and never forget to love. When you think of me, smile, and know I am with you always and forever.”

Final arrangements have been entrusted to Sellers-Smith Funeral Home, Inc.
