More than $1,200 in electronic equipment, including Apple iPads, were stolen early Monday morning from a computer business in the Ashley Park retail center.
Newnan Police Department officers responded to an alarm about 2 a.m. at Computer Advantage to find the glass door was broken with a rock.
"A video of the incident was captured on the store's security cameras, which showed two suspects busting the glass door and entering the store," a police officer reported. "The first suspect appeared to be a black male wearing blue jeans, a dark colored hoodie and white tennis shoes. The second suspect appeared to be a black male wearing blue jeans, a dark colored hat, a dark colored coat and brown boots.
The suspects were believed to be between 20 and 30 years of age.
The store manager said a television, an iPad mini, an iPad and other items were stolen.
"Witnesses in the area described seeing a white van with no windows and U-Haul written on it leaving the area at a high rate of speed without headlights at the time of the incident," an officer reported.
Investigators were able to obtain blood samples from a section of broken glass. The case remains under investigation.
