The Barnhill Family of Sharpsburg will compete on “Family Feud” in four episodes beginning tonight at 7 on The CW Atlanta 69 (WUPA).

“Family Feud” host Steve Harvey and his brand of comedy return for an all-new season of America’s beloved family competition.

The Barnhills — Brenda, husband Chris, with his brother Jonathan, sister-in-law Christina, and sister Angel face off against the Franchina Family from Pittsburgh, Pa., in front of a live studio audience in Atlanta.

It was Brenda Barnhill’s idea to try out for the show last Thanksgiving and everyone sort of humored her idea. They sent in an audition tape, and then were called in for two auditions with different sets of producers.

They taped the episodes in July. “It was awesome,” said Barnhill.

With the chance to win up to $100,000 and a brand new car, how did the Barnhills fare? “

"You’re supposed to watch and see,” said Brenda. They will have a viewing party tonight for family and friends.

“We all have kids, so any winnings would go toward education funds for them,” said Angel Harmon.

The other episodes air Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Brenda had long been a fan of Family Feud since it first began with host Richard Dawson.

“It’s always been on my bucket list,” she said.
