There are 140 foreclosure-related advertisements in today's legal section of The Newnan Times-Herald.
That's the lowest number since September of 2011, and the second lowest since August of 2008. Last month, there were 165.
There is only one commercial listing amongst the 140 foreclosure related notices.
A small commercial shopping center on MiIllard Farmer Industrial Boulevard/ Hwy. 34 Bypass, is listed as a "sale of realty private." The Wahoo Plaza center, located at 396 Millard Farmer Industrial Boulevard, is owned by Thompson Brothers Investments LLC.
Also listed this month are multiple lots in the Summerlin subdivision owned by Lichty Brothers Construction, and the apartment complexes at 204 Jackson Street and 9 Dixon Street owned by Wood Properties and Investments, Inc.
The rest of the advertisements were for single-family homes or undeveloped tracts of land.
Last month, there were a few commercial properties listed in the foreclosure advertisements, as well as one industrial building.
October commercial listings included Aamco Transmissions/Lot 1 of the Tower Place Auto Mall, owned by Ralph and Fred Padovano, DBA Nel-Pad and Subsidiaries; a 4,000-square-foot commercial property at 2997 South Hwy. 29 Moreland owed by SLB Ventures, LLC; and 2.68 acres of undeveloped commercially-zoned property along the Hwy. 34 Bypass, just east of Hwy. 70/Roscoe Road, owned by Larry Martin and David Hewitt of Carrollton. Also listed was the former Autumn's Gate mobile home park, owned by PTV. That property was also listed in September.
The October industrial property was 536 Corinth Road, the former home of Smith and Reichel, a millwork and casework manufacturer. The 7,700-square-foot building was owned by Corinth Coweta Real Estate.
According to Realty Trac, one in every 487 housing units in Coweta received a foreclosure filing in September of 2012. That's down significantly from August, when one in every 346 units received a foreclosure notice. Statewide, the September ratio was one in every 532 housing units.

• Oct. 2012 - 165 (up from 154 in 2011, or 7 percent).
• Nov. 2012 - 140 (down from 242 in 2011, or -58 percent)
