Main Street Newnan continues its fall event season with the annual Oktoberfest Boutique Beer Tasting event this Friday from 5-9 p.m. in downtown Newnan.
Twenty-seven locations are participating in this year’s event and will feature a wide variety of local, American and international micro-brewed, craft and imported lagers, ales and pilsners. A list of beers that will be available for sampling can be found on the Main Street website.
Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 the day of the event. Tickets are available for purchase online at www.mainstreetnewnan.com. Tickets may also be purchased at the following downtown locations: Scott’s Bookstore, Bell’s Handcrafts, Bank of Coweta, R. DuBose Jewelers, Grannie Fannie’s Antiques, Design House, Fine Lines Art & Framing, C. S. Toggery, Encore Décor, Morgan’s Jewelers, Let Them Eat Toffee, Piedmont Wellness Center, Gillyweed, Farrago Gallery, and The Wynn House on Spring.
Tickets include a commemorative glass and beer guide.
Event registration Friday will be held at the Main Street information tent, which will be located at 3 East Court Square in front of Cook’s Office Equipment. Event registration is required for all attendees, and anyone wishing to participate must be 21 years of age or older.
Free public parking is available along downtown streets and in off-street lots located on the corner of LaGrange and Spring streets, First Avenue and Spring Street, on East Broad Street near Perry Street behind the Coweta County Administration building and at East Washington and Perry streets.
