State Sen. Mike Crane will be speaking to constituents at the Senoia Magistrate Court on Thursday.

The Senoia Tea Party Patriots are sponsoring the town hall meeting with Crane. The meeting will start at 7 p.m., and the court building is located at 505 Howard Road.

Crane was elected to complete the term of Sen. Mitch Seabaugh, who resigned to accept a non-elective state post.

Crane “has decided to run for re-election” to the District 28 state senate seat, noted Joe Cannin, coordinator of the STTP.

“This is a great opportunity for the residents of Senoia, Sharpsburg and the surrounding area to hear about Sen. Crane’s experience during the 2012 legislative session,” Cannin said. He urged those attending to come with questions to ask the senator.

STTP has sponsored a forum for Senoia City Council candidates and a town hall meeting for U.S. Rep. Lynn Westmoreland in the past.

“The Senoia Tea Party Patriots appreciate the support that the residents of southeast Coweta County have shown us at our forum and town hall meetings,” Cannin said. “Our primary mission is to educate everyone on where the candidates stand on issues that will affect all of us.”

Cannin announced plans for the Crane forum at the April 2 meeting of the Senoia City Council.
