An two-month long undercover investigation led to the arrest of a woman on charges of selling methamphetamine.
Jennifer Ann Werner, 29, was arrested Friday during a traffic stop as she was returning to her residence, said Investigator Victor McPhie with the Coweta County Sheriff's Office Crime Suppression Unit.
"We had information she was selling meth during the daytime hours," McPhie said. "A confidential informant purchased meth and we then got the arrest warrants.
"We set up and waited for her and stopped her during a traffic stop," the investigator said, adding more meth was found on Werner by a female deputy.
McPhie said Werner was arrested on the same charges back in 2009.
Werner was charged with sale of meth and possession of meth, McPhie said. The latest arrest came from sales made at 195 Meadows Drive in Senoia.
"We continue to ask for the community's help in tracking down any information about illegal drug activity," he added.
Anyone with information concerning illegal drug activity or other crimes is asked to call the hotline at 770-253-2324. Callers can remain anonymous.
