• Burger King, 415 Bullsboro Drive, was inspected Jan. 27. Current score, 99-A. Previous scores, 99-A on June 14, and 98-A on Nov. 1, 2010. Inspector’s comments: plastic pans were wet stacked.

• Fire Dragon Asian Cuisine, 1065 Sullivan Road, was inspected Jan. 31. Current score, 97-A. Previous scores, 90-A on June 8, and 96 A on Nov. 10, 2010. Inspector’s comments: large open bags of product in dry storage, some containers on floor in cooler and freezer. Wiping cloths not stored in sanitizer. Need sanitizer solution for tables.

• LaFiesta at 7&9 Jackson Street, Newnan, was inspected Feb. 6. Current score, 94-A. Previous scores, 86-B on May 3, and 96-A, on Oct. 28, 2010. Inspector’s comments: backdoor needs better closure — too many gaps and doesn’t stay completely shut. Ceiling has some build up and needs repair work, air duct insulation is torn. Improper labels on food in walk-in coller; need to remove old ones and put new ones on. Improper scoop in dried beans.

• Shane’s Rib Shack, 55 Newnan Crossing Bypass, was inspected Jan. 26. Current score, 96-A. Previous scores, 95-A on June 14, and 95-A on Nov. 15, 2010. Inspector’s comments: some stained ceiling tiles, cardboard covering passthrough window needs to be removed. Cooler in kitchen not able to cool fast enough.

• Great China, 1111 Lower Fayetteville Road, was inspected on Feb. 8. Current score, 93-A. Previous scores, 95-A on June 30, 92-A on Dec. 22, 2010. Inspector’s comments: handwash sink had gloves and paper towels in it — need to be ready to use at all time. Open bags of product in dry storage — need to be sealed or in a container. Wiping cloths to be stored in sanitizer between uses. Water needs to be changed out periodically.

• Hart’s Ribs and Wings, 45-D Robinson Street, was inspected Feb. 8. Current score, 85-B. Previous score, 85-B on June 7. Inspector’s comments: open bags of sugar, macaroni, etc. on shelf — must be sealed or in a container. Eggs stored above ready to eat foods — corrected. Small cooler not able to maintain 41 degrees or below — do not store anything that has required refrigeration in it. Wiping cloths to be stored in sanitizer between uses.

• Mongkoltep Thai Restaurant, 16 North Court Square, Newnan, was inspected Feb. 8. Current score, 84-B. Previous scores 81-B on July 6, and 74-C on June 22. Inspector’s comments: soap dispenser at handwash sink not operable. No sanitizer for cleaning cutting boards and surfaces. Improperly labeled bottle. Wiping cloths on counters wet — no sanitizing bucket. Dishes stored in vegetable prep sink.

• Fabiano’s Pizza at the Alamo, 19 West Court Square, Newnan, was inspected Feb. 7. Current score, 87-B. Previous scores 90-A on June 20, 96-A on Nov. 16, 2010. Inspector’s comments: sanitizer not pumping - fixed. Small lift-top cooler not maintaining temp - chicken 54 degrees, tomatoes 53.5 degrees.

• Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse, 101 Newnan Crossing Boulevard, was inspected Jan. 27. Current score, 93-A. Previous scores 85-B, on June 29, 98-A on Dec. 31, 2010. Inspector’s comments: open bag of rice flour on shelf, open container of rice on second shelf cooling, ice cream not covered. Bowls for scoops. Lift-top cooler not able to maintain temperature.

• Avalon Health and Rehabilitation, 120 Spring Street, was inspected March 14. Current score, 99-A. Previous scores, 96-A on June 16, 95-A on Nov. 16, 2010. Inspector’s comments: mold/mildew on lower part of back wall in dry storage.
