Youngsters collecting socks at First Methodist

First United Methodist Church’s children are socking away some outreach this month.

The children’s Sunday school competition for January involves students in kindergarten-fifth grade. Classes are competing by bringing socks of all sizes to Sunday school.

The socks will be donated to Angel’s House, a local program for children in foster care. The class bringing the most socks during January will win a doughnut party.
