A good old, hardworking Southern boy has had it.
The automobile mechanic publicly declared that he has surrendered and given up his lifelong effort to figure out women.
He has not just thrown in the towel but also his grease rag when it comes to trying to discover what women really want.
This came about after a published report of several complicated studies conducted by large U.S. companies at a cost of large sums of money in an attempt to discover what women want from their manufactured products and marketing, but they failed.
The guy's attitude is understandable. Imagine how he feels when great numbers of skilled surveyors have made all kinds of expensive and hoped-for successful studies to learn what women were thinking and desired in life. And all this was to no avail.
One can sympathize with the action he has taken under the circumstances.
However, there is another side to the situation that must be stated.
Some other men would be bold or foolhardy enough to ask, "Why did it take him so long to admit to himself what I realized long ago?"
And another thing, where does it say "men must understand women"?
Wise men have arrived at the answer: "It is not necessarily required that we figure out women, but we are supposed to love and appreciate them."
