There are some extremely important “Ups in Life.”
Admittedly, there are a number of “downs” in all of our lives, but the happiest, most contented of all the persons I’ve known are those who, despite everything that happens, have managed to look on the up side of life.
In your life, why not consider these significant Ups?
“Wake up.” Decide early to have a good day. As the scripture says,
“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24
“Dress up.” The best way to dress up is, as the perky upbeat song says, “Put on a happy face.” And someone has advised: A smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.
“The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” I Samuel 16:7
“Build Up.” Build up the lives of those around you. It is far better to build up than to tear down. This wonderful system was and is still made possible by the example of great old timers who said, “Never say anything about somebody unless you can say something good.”
