Vote 'yes' on SPLOST March 6

The SPLOST tax is one of the easiest and most beneficial taxes we can experience.

First, we already have this tax, so there won't be an increase in what we normally spend when we buy something.

Second, our tax collections will be multiplied because visitors will account for a substantial amount of revenue collections. This tax has given us a new Courthouse, County Administration complex and the Performing Arts Centre without increasing our property tax.

Why not vote "yes" when we, the residents of Coweta County, will reap the benefits and allow county leaders to improve the place in which we live.

It's a no-brainer when you allow someone else to contribute to the tax collection while they stop or shop here. The alternative is a decrease in amenities or an increase in property tax ... sounds like an easy choice to me. Vote for SPLOST on March 6.
