What happened? When did civil rights stop being a righteous cause and turn into a meal ticket?

Liberal viewership not: According to a poll early this year by the Pew Research Center, only 10 percent of Fox News viewers describe themselves as liberal.

Show me the indictment: Can we indict Obama for abuse of power, too?

Pick your crime: Why would anybody dislike Obama solely for the color of his skin when there are so many other reasons to dislike him? Benghazi, the IRS scandal, the NSA scandal, Fast and Furious, the “you can keep your health care plan” lie, etc., etc.

Not so true: So, Michelle Nunn Martin lies about Perdue's time at Pillowtex in NC. You'd have thought she would learn from Jack Kingston's mistake – Politifact: Mostly false

Appreciate that: Thank you so much to the kind lady who delivered the delicious bread to this deputy sheriff on Corinth Road. You made my day.

Stop it, Michelle: So you want to ban what junk food people bring to work? OK, then I get to tell you what you get to eat for lunch, just like the White House is doing.

Movie folks: Kudos to the lady (Kathleen Sullivan) for speaking out at the Senoia City Council meeting. A working man who lives in Senoia can't even park his work truck in his own yard, but the high dollar movie people can come in and do what they want.

Both awesome: One does not need to slam one actor to make a point about another. Both Robin Williams and Lauren Bacall were masters of their craft.

Proper training: Law enforcement is not trained to wound. They are trained to fire until the threat is stopped. The Lone Ranger days were never here, only on TV. Until one is faced with the fear of receiving bodily harm, you will never know how it feels. Police are rarely abusive; they should be respected and their instructions followed.

Michael Brown: We have those who see him as the only one being abused, but my take on him is much different. He started all the trouble and wound up getting killed. If he would have just surrendered without a fight, he would be alive. When a policemen tells you to surrender, you are not supposed to resist his command.

Try some fruit: Judging by the average tonnage of the parents and children I see in line at stores, I'd say cutting sugary snacks and cakes out of school parties is a good thing. How about an apple?

My take on it: If someone has (reportedly) had seven beers, I wouldn't expect from him to react to police commands. Just take care of him and remember that everyone has gotten drunk one time or another. Unless the situation is very dangerous, however, which it wasn't here.

Let him go: Couldn't the Newnan Police officers have just ignored that drunk loudmouth outside the Alamo?

It’s the driver: The most problems with roundabouts are drivers? Of course! If it were not for drivers, we would have no wrecks at all. Roads are made for all the people, including those with slow reactions or no common sense.

Seriously? I can't believe that our great "leader" goes directly from shallow, passionless words about an innocent journalist having his head chopped off directly to the golf course. What is wrong with this picture? I guess that's just more media propaganda, right?

Government dependence: Signing Obamacare into law against our will and the Constitution is tyranny and step one of the Democrats’ hideous goal of having as many Americans as possible dependent upon government, thus controlling our lives and fulfilling Obama’s promise to fundamentally transform America.

In his shoes: If you've never had a 300-pound, 6-foot-4 thug break your face and try to steal your gun from its holster, I don't think your opinion of what Officer Wilson did as that same thug came charging back at him moments later has much value.
