No Oprah: Oprah got it wrong, as she usually does. It is not disrespect for the office, but for the man in the office.

Hmmm: Black Friday — Isn't that racist?

High bills: NuLink donates $10,000 to Coweta County School System. I know the schools need the money, but now I also know why my NuLink bill is so outrageously high.

Thanks, P&R: I hope Pelosi and Reid have sleepless nights after they forced this Obamacare upon America. I bet they never even read the book of destruction to our health care and the turmoil it has on the hard-working people of this country.

It ain’t easy: The only time I fell on hard times, I received food stamps. I purchased food only with food stamps, because money went for rent (reduced by a very kind landlady), utilities, bus fare for job searching, etc. Wouldn't wish that life on anyone. Easy it's not. Try it.

Don’t bash the army: I doubt the Salvation Army hates anyone, including the gay community. They certainly hate the sin of sodomy, but not the sinner. It's amazing the gay community expects heterosexuals to accept what many consider a sin. Why should we? Does your sin trump our morality? I think not.

The female vote: Women will decide the next presidential race. The candidate must believe that killing a baby is wrong. You can't have it both ways for abortion but be pro-children. It doesn't even make sense, except to a kooky liberal.

Thank you: My family, driving teenagers included, would like to thank the person(s) in charge of putting a traffic light at the Thomas Crossroads Kroger. It's long overdue, but we are still very appreciative.

No good: This president has done nothing for anyone in this country. He is supposed to be for all the people, not the select few who worship him. The countdown is here. I'll vote for anyone, at this point, who represents the USA and its people.

Welfare state: Ninety-six percent of poor people were never hungry — that doesn't necessarily mean the remaining 4 percent were starving children. And your solution is to create a vast welfare state with a bloated bureaucracy to service these four percent? And now liberals destroy our health-care system in order to "help" a small percentage of Americans. Good plan?

Guilt or not? Obama is guilty of trying to help 40 million people get insurance and improve it for million more so they can afford a doctor. He’s not starting a wrong war and killing thousands of innocent people. That is what a good Christian does.

Hating Fox: I have read the Huffington Post. It has world news about gay rights, etc. You don't like Fox News because you’re liberal and you don't like what they report, which are the facts.

Help us II: As I listen to Ted Cruz, I get the feeling that he thinks he is a preacher [like his father], or thinks he is God and rules the Earth. Wake up, people, we have a wacko senator on an agenda to destroy America. The real God please help us.

Learn to play: Are all the Falcons on dope? They play like they are.

Pay it forward: I want to thank the driver in front of me at the Dwarf House for paying for my order on Friday night. I was treating my daughter and her friend to a meal after a long day of school and chorus rehearsal. From the three of us — many thanks.
