Oh please: And you would not have signed a deal to make that money if you found you were diabetic? In a heartbeat, you would.

Are you kidding me? They can't let George Zimmerman walk. If they do, Florida will be burned to the ground.

Who's king? Any natural-born American can become president, but only a handful of natural-born Britons can become king or queen.

About that climate change: Why is it that the least reliable information about climate change comes from the scientists who study climate as their profession? Does this make any sense?

Crossword on Sunday: Why not take one crossword puzzle from Wednesday/Thursday edition and print on Sunday? We need a more challenging puzzle than the TV edition, especially on Sunday.

Who's your team? Normally, most people would not care at all whether person A was justified in killing person B in Sanford, FL. They care because it gives them an excuse to root for Team Black or Team White.

What's up with that? Why, all of a sudden, are there so many TV commercials for catheters?!?

Conservatives/GOP: Integrity, responsibility, accountability are words the 'Right' supposedly stands for. Then let Paula Deen, George Zimmerman and all the like take responsibility, show accountability and demonstrate the integrity they claim. The Right should take the log out their own eye before trying to get the speck out of mine.

Friday's editorial: Thanks, and Amen!

Let them be happy: Marriage is not about religion, atheists marry. Marriage is not about procreation, infertiles marry. Marriage isn't about wealth, it can bring poverty. Marriage is about love, and only love. If it doesn't affect your life, why begrudge someone of being happy?

Coweta Red: Despite the fact Coweta County is 'Red,' it has not stopped the witching, moaning and whining coming from the local GOP. Why are you crying if you're in charge and handling your business?

Ignore it: We must ignore political correctness. It is more political than it is correct. The Constitution gives us freedom of speech. Whether you like it or not, we are free to speak our minds. Political correctness is dead. Bury it.

Where's our spirit? It seems altogether fitting and proper that this Independence Day holiday was washed away. Has anyone ever truly felt less American this year than ever before? Our American spirit is adrift in a hailstorm, with prospects looking none to good. We need to wake up fellow citizens and stamp out this virus.

Here's your key: For all you folks who think the Newnan House Motel is fine, move in.

Who are you kidding? A lot of people who live in East Coweta and Northgate territory have no idea where downtown Newnan is or how to get to the Court Square.

Let them eat: Competitive eating contests on July 4 look like the last days of Caligula.

Take some pride: Abandoned and uninhabitable buildings are all over Coweta County. Why is our code enforcement not doing more about holding up the standards? It only takes a little effort and all can be made to look better. Let's take pride in our county.

Wrong protection: Local law enforcement is keeping us safe from folks smoking pot and from sex toys -a waste of time, money and effort, not to mention infringement of personal liberty.

Take 'em down: Would city officials please take down some of the NO TURN ON RED signs, please.
