Recalling Wounded Knee; you can't trust the government

Want to know what happens with gun control and the government? Look no further than history and the massacre at Wounded Knee.
The government confiscated all the arms from the Sioux Indians at their winter reservation camp with the promise that we will protect and feed you.
What happened next is living proof that you cannot trust a government in total control.
The army and a bunch of volunteers immediately slaughtered 297 unarmed people, of which 200 were women and children. For this murder they were given medals for bravery.
When the Second Amendment was written, hunting was an everyday requirement to put food on the table. As for target shooting, what a foolish notion perpetrated by liberals, musket balls were a valuable commodity not to be wasted on foolishness. The Second Amendment was to protect citizens from the likes of government actions at Wounded Knee.
Thomas Jefferson said, “A Nation of sheep shall be governed by a government of wolves.” Has President Obama shown he can be trusted? I think not. Was Hitler to be trusted. Throughout history the greatest number of murders and slaughters has been committed by governments against their own unarmed people. Look today at Syria -- more than 100,000 citizens dead.
Trust our own government? I think not. Obama wants a citizenry of sheep. Have the conservatives ever called for total gun control? No. The liberals are out of control and playing to current hysteria perpetrated by a mad boy. Evil always has been and always will be present in the world. It started with Cain and Able. It will end with the return of Jesus and the casting out of Satan.

Guns do not kill. People kill.
