2 kinds of people love unions
This is in response to a opinion piece titled “Unions set the standard for pay scales.” The writer mentions the teacher strike in Chicago, the dock workers strike in San Francisco and the current action in Michigan.What was not mentioned was the teachers called in sick by the hundreds to protest. That left parents scrambling for babysitters, in turn costing them money either by having to stay home or paying a babysitter. The students in the Chicago area are years behind in reading and other subjects.
The union in San Francisco threatened people and even vandalized a train. In Michigan a union thug punched a reporter in the face, then union members destroyed a elderly man’s hot dog stand.
Now the union dockworkers are threatening strikes from Maine to Texas. They don’t care if it costs innocent people money as long as they get what they want. The union has already cost this country billions with the GM bailout or the union bailout.
Another assertion is made that if you make under $100,000 a year and have less than $1 million net worth you will be left at the dock of the Republican ship. He might want to check, and he would realize the majority of politicians in Washington are rich Democrats being lobbied by the rich union.
There are two kinds of people that love unions. The Democrats and the Chinese. They both make money off them.
