Disarming citizens serious

Some people have the idea gun control will solve the crime problem in America. The young, 20-year-old who took the lives of 20 children was a terrible thing. However, our president and vice president want to take the right of sane men and women’s to own a gun to protect themselves.
This is a very dangerous thing to our freedom. Every dictator disarms the citizens so he can rule the nation as he sees fit. Hitler did such a thing.
This young man of 20 years took the lives of 27 people in a matter of minutes with a gun, but he could have killed them one at a time with a knife. It may have taken him more time, but still the death would have occurred.
The people of this nation had best listen to those of us who know that disarming the citizens of this nation is a serious thing.
A dictator can only make slaves out of people if they have no way of defending themselves.
We have some foolish minds in high office who only love themselves and the almighty dollar. Once a person gets all the money they can get their hands on, they go to wanting to control people like they are their slaves. They become power seekers. Don’t ever believe those in high office love you above themselves.

A man I work with told me three men in Chicago robbed him with ball bats; he had to shoot one of them and didn’t want to. He said they could have killed me with a ball bat for less than $1,000. He said he bought the gun because he had already been robbed trying to make an innocent living delivering pizza.
