Take revenge out on me and not American people

Dear President Obama:
Please take your revenge out on me and not the people of this country for being too proud of ourselves or wanting independence from government not dependence; or American business, large or small, for trying to achieve the American dream of monetary success through hard work; or our religious institutions for believing in life at conception; or our oil companies for wanting American oil to be consumed, not foreign oil; or our military by defunding them because you could use the money to build more dependency programs.
And please, don’t take revenge on the millions of people in other countries that look to us, the United States, as a shining beacon of hope that someday they, too, may be free, by caving in on American principles to foreign leaders.
Mr. President, I am easy to find and more than willing to take your revenge if you will get out of the way and leave all the others alone to build American again.
Don Bilsky, Newnan
