New law goes too far

My wife and I are law abiding citizens and think everyone else should be also. However, this new law requiring everyone to have three forms of identification in order to get driver’s licenses is going a little too far.
My wife has lived in Georgia since 1959 and has had Georgia licenses for more than 40 years here in Coweta County. If she has been able to drive for 40 years without having to prove that she is an American citizen, it’s stupid she was denied her driver’s license until she sent off and acquired our marriage license certificate to show proof why she had her last name changed. It cost us about $50 to have this done.
We understand someone who is first applying for Georgia driver’s licenses should show proof they are an American citizen. But for a woman who has a 40-year-old driver’s licenses in this state the law is ridiculous.
If she has been in this nation illegal for 40 years, she should be given her citizenship with no questions asked.
I am so afraid we are losing our rights here in America, and if we all don’t take a stand now, later may be too late. The federal government and state government are taking our rights away faster than we all realize. This has really caused a lot of undue stress on the two of us and cost money we also need for paying bills and buying food.
We hope nobody else has to go through this type of ordeal.
