• Funeral service for Martha Jean Watson Phillips, 74, of Newnan, GA, will be held Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, 3 p.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church, 87 Pinson St., Newnan. In-state viewing at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Eastview Cemetery. Viewing is Saturday, 2-6 p.m. at Roscoe Jenkins Funeral Home Inc., Newnan. • Leroy Rutledge, 71, of Boozer Street in Hogansville, GA, died on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Thrash and Sons Funeral Home, Hogansville. • Patricia Goddard Shuler, 80, of Moreland, GA, died at Newnan Health and Rehabilitation on Jan. 3, 2013. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6 at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home, Newnan. Burial will follow at Senoia City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, 1 p.m. until service time. • E. Alton Reeves, 92, of Franklin, GA, formerly of East Point and Sharpsburg, died at Piedmont Newnan Hospital in Newnan, GA, on Jan. 3, 2013. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6 at First Baptist Church of Peachtree City. Remains will be placed in state at the church at 1:30 p.m. Burial with military honors will be held at noon on Monday, Jan. 7 at Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends today, Saturday, 4-6 p.m. at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home, Newnan. • Frederic Paine Worthen Jr., 66, of Newnan, GA, died Jan. 3, 2013.
