Mr. Edward Gilbert Cox, Jr. Mr. Edward Gilbert Cox, Jr., age 78, of Sharpsburg, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012, at his residence. He was born February 16, 1934, in Washington County, Ga. Mr. Cox was preceded in death by his wife, Mary F. Carden Cox; father, Edward G. Cox, Sr. and sister, Scarlett Bartlett. Mr. Cox is survived by his mother, Fannie S. Cox; daughters, Carlin Cox Clower and Christy Cox; grandchildren, Joshua and his wife Brandy Clower and Jordan Clower; great-grandchild, Karsyn Clower; sister, Syble Cox and brother, Buddy Cox.
