Mrs. Sybil Virginia Titshaw
Mrs. Sybil Virginia Titshaw, age 87, of Newnan, GA, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2012, at Regency Hospital South Atlanta. She was born on Feb. 14, 1925 in Heard County, GA, to the late Pierce Oliver Davis and Luta Abner Davis.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Titshaw and daughter, Brenda Titshaw.
She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Green;  sons, James "Buddy" Titshaw and Melvin Titshaw; daughter, Virginia Gann;  brothers, Oliver Davis, Curtis Davis, J.C. Davis, Ennis Davis; sisters, Opal Bartlett, Margaret Sullivan, Grace Ward, Hazel Conley; and six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service for Sybil Virginia Titshaw will be held Monday, April 30, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home. Dr. John Riley and Rev. Searcy Jackson will officiate. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  The family received friends on Sunday, April 29,  from 4 to 7 p.m. at McKoon Funeral Home.
