Mrs. Barbara "Sue" Taylor, age 70, of Whitesburg, Ga., passed away Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012.
She was born Dec. 21, 1941 in Whitesburg, Georgia the daughter of the late Hugh Richards and Jessie Bell Arrington Richards. Mrs. Taylor retired from Sony and attended Whitesburg United Methodist Church and was a member of St. Paul Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Dennis Richards and Bill Richards.
Survivors include her husband, W.A. "Bud" Taylor; children, Scott & Enola Taylor of Carrollton and Lee Tillman Taylor of Whitesburg; sisters and brothers-in-law, Josephine & Jim Hearn of Whitesburg, Kay & Forest Byram of Franklin, and June & Ronnie Musick of Whitesburg; grandchildren, Noah & Brooke Taylor. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Jan. 28, at 11 a.m. from St. Paul United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Hearn and Rev. Jimmy Henry officiating. Pallbearers were Mike Musick, Andy Musick, Brian Colin, Kevin Wilson, Ryan Wilson, and Eddie Nichols. Honorary pallbearers were James Hearn and Jeffery Hearn.
