Mr. William (Billy) L. Archer Sr.
Mr. William (Billy) L. Archer Sr., age 74, of Newnan, GA, died at his residence on Feb. 5, 2013. 
He was born in Atlanta on June 21, 1938, to Hoke Archer and Hattie Chaney Archer. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He was an avid golfer and loved cars. 
Billy was predeceased by his father, Hoke Archer, and wife, Patricia Boswell Archer. Surviving are his mother, Hattie Archer of Carrollton; wife, Sally Knight Archer of Newnan; sons, Bill Archer (Trish), Eric Archer (Mara), and Shannon Archer all of Newnan; daughters, Kaye Reinhardt of Jasper and Stephanie Singleton (William) of Raymond; brother, Hoke Archer of Newnan; sisters, Jean King of Newnan, and Phyllis Norton of Conyers; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. 
Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.higginshillcrestchapel.com . Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9 at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel with Rev. Don Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Cokes Chapel United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today, Friday, 6-8 p.m.
