Obituary
Mrs. Juanita Steele Sikes, 80, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, of Sharpsburg, died Wednesday, November 4, 2009. She was born May 6, 1929, in Langley, SC, to the late Will & Kate Steele. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Donald Sikes.
The memorial service is Sunday, November 8, 2009, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St., Newnan, with Rev. Dan Akins officiating. Flowers are welcome, or memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International, P.O. Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214, or www.gideons.org.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Lionel Sikes of Sharpsburg; children, Ronnie Sikes of Jackson, James Sikes of Sharpsburg, Marie Jones of Hapeville; brothers, Brady Steele of Gloverville, SC, Junior Steele of Orangeburg, SC; grandchildren, Mark Sikes, Wendy Smith, Dennis Sikes, Angie Sikes-Burdeshaw, Jon Sikes, Julie Jones, Regina Jones, Gregory Jones, Jennifer Jones, Matthew Wilks; and 12 great-grandchildren.
