Mrs. Frances Lepard Pope

Obituary

Frances Lepard Pope, 74, of Luthersville died June 5, 2009 at Wellstar Douglasville Hospital. She was born Sept. 24, 1934 in Haralson County, Ga. to the late Harvey and Lillie Mae Stevens Lepard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Joe E. Pope; brother Lewis Lepard; and sister Evelyn Williams.

The funeral is Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home with Brother Jeff Childers officiating. The burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The visitation is Monday evening between 6- 8 p.m. at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St, Newnan, Ga.

She is survived by her children Mary Frances (Wayne) Payne of Douglasville, Deborah Ann (Ken) Duncan of Newnan; sisters Virginia (Alton) Kelley of Acworth, Ga., Velma Orr of Ala., Kitty (Kenneth) Nixon of Waco, Ga.; brother John (Sandra) Lepard of Waco, Ga.; grandchildren Gregory (Crystal) Payne, Marcus Payne, John David Duncan, Robert Kenneth (Melissa) Duncan, William Michael (Marie) Duncan; great-grandchildren Breanna Payne, Austin Payne, Abigail Duncan; numerous nieces and nephews.
