Mr. Jason Thomas Moye Mr. Jason Thomas Moye left this life to join his father in heaven unexpectedly on Feb. 5, 2011. At the time of his death he was working for the Pipeliners' Union Local 798 in Utah as a welder's assistant on a project in Ogden, Utah. Jason's life began in Millington, Tenn., on Sept. 24, 1985. He is the son of Timothy Dawson Moye and Christina Lynn Spencer Dempsey. Jason was just the type of person who befriended everyone he met. His playful personality and sensitivity made him a favorite of everybody. Nobody knew this better than a special little guy who stole Jason's heart and returned that love without measure -- his buddy Brody. Big plans were in the works for Jason to return home and marry his dear girlfriend Georgia on April 30. The three of them (Jason, Georgia, Brody) were to begin a new chapter in their lives as a family. In honor of his love for Brody, Jason's family has established an account to ensure Brody's education. Donations may be made to the Brody Bailey College Fund, c/o The Bank of Coweta, 37 Lakeside Way, Newnan, GA 30265. Surviving Jason are his parents, Tim Moye and his wife Leigh, Christina Dempsey and her husband Tom. Jason has one brother, Christopher Moye, and a step-sister, Alison Dempsey. Precious memories are held by his fiancée, Georgia Bailey, and her son, Brody. The paternal grandparents are Dawson and Sandra Moye and his maternal grandparents are Judy Spencer and Larry Spencer. Jason held in great esteem his extended family -- his many friends. Funeral arrangements are by McKoon Funeral Home at 38 Jackson Street in Newnan where the family will have visitation on Thursday evening between 6 and 8 p.m. The funeral service will be on Friday, Feb. 11 at 11 a.m. in the McKoon Funeral Home chapel with Pastor John Orr officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Online condolences may be expressed at www.mckoon.com
