Mrs. Nadine Julia Mitchell, age 89, of Luthersville, Ga., died at Piedmont-Newnan Hospital on Nov. 12, 2009. Mrs. Mitchell, born in Doerun, Ga., on May 13, 1920, was retired from Newnan Hospital as a nursing technician. She was a member of Rocky Mt. Baptist Church for over 30 years, and she loved to sew, garden, fish, and she especially loved her pet, Dawn. Surviving are her son, Ronald Mitchell, and his wife, Linda of Stockbridge; brother, Joe B. Cox and his wife, Eunice, of Moultrie; grandchildren, Rebecca Mitchell, Jennifer Eason and her husband, Mike; great grandchild, Chappel.

Wayne Settle officiating. Interment will follow at 4 p.m. at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery in Bowden. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, 6-8 p.m. Higgins Hillcrest Chapel, Newnan, Ga.
