Mrs. Christine Milam
Obituary
Mrs. Christine Milam, age 80, of Newnan, Ga., died at Piedmont Newnan Hospital on Oct. 25, 2009. She was born in Coweta County on May 17, 1929, to the late Eddie Lee Conner and Hattie Fordham Conner. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Roy Milam, on Sept. 21. Christine loved baseball, gardening and cooking, and showed her love for her family in so many ways. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Surviving are her sons, Ron McLemore and his wife, Terri, Michael Milam and Jeffrey Milam; daughters, Doris Bomar and her husband, Homer, and Darlene Kollra and her husband, Mark; sisters, Lunell McKoon, Ophelia Beckom, Frances Thompson, Elsie Smith and Margaret Mathews; grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Oct. 30 at 1 p.m. at the Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, 6-8 p.m.
