Obituary
Mr. John Wesley Gaines, age 65, of Newnan, Ga., died at his residence on June 7, 2009. He was born in Coweta County to the late Robert H. Gaines and Gertrude Coursey Gaines on February 19, 1944.
Surviving are his son, John Scott Gaines; daughters, Deborah Agerton, Kathy Grubbs, Lysa Walters; brother, Harvey Gaines; sister, Dura Jones; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 10 at 1 p.m. at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Joel Heaton Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Luthersville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, 6-8 p.m.
