Obituary

Mrs. Evelyn Fowler Daugherty, 75, of Chickamauga, passed away Friday, Jan. 8, 2010.

Services will be Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tenn. with Brother Ken Trivett and Brother Jack Lawson officiating. Mrs. Daugherty will lie in state at the church from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will be held at Roselane Cemetery in Toccoa, Ga., Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010 at 1 p.m.

Mrs. Daugherty was married to Dr. Bob Daugherty of Chickamauga, Ga. for 57 years. They faithfully served together in ministry for over 50 years.

She is survived by her husband: Dr. Bob Daugherty of Chickamauga, Ga.; daughter: Toni Childress of Carnesville, Ga.: son and daughter in law: Danny and Sandra Daugherty of Soddy Daisy, Tenn.; two sisters: Alice Brown of Duluth, Ga. and Flossie "Butch" Ferguson of Rockmart, Ga.: one brother: Curvin Fowler of Conley, Ga.; three granddaughters and one grandson; and seven great-grandsons.

The family received friends at West Cobb Funeral Home in Marietta Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010 from 1-4p.m. and 6 -8 p.m. Visitation will be held Monday, Jan. 11, 2010 from 1- 4 p.m. and 6- 8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Ft.
