Mrs. Bernice Done Broome
Obituary
Mrs. Bernice Done Broome, age 76 of Newnan, Ga., died Jan. 28, 2010, at Heritage Health Center in Franklin.
Mrs. Broome was born in Coweta County to the late Willie Paul and Janie Lee Pendergrast Broome on Feb. 5, 1933.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Broome, daughter, Dianne, two brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her son, James Broome, as well as Mrs. Broome's former daughter-in-law and her husband, Deloris and Jackie Davis; sons, Marion Broome, Ricky Broome and Dennis Broome; daughters, Patricia Broome, Barbara Broome and Donna Broome; brother, Melvin Arrington; sister, Virginia Groover; 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held today, Saturday, Jan. 30 at the Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Doddridge officiating at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends today at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until funeral hour. Higgins Hillcrest Chapel, Newnan.
