Richard Hale “Rick” Motz Jr.
Mr. Richard Hale “Rick” Motz Jr., age 53, of Newnan, Ga., died May 4, 2012. He was born Dec. 13, 1958, in Peru, Indiana, to Richard Hale Motz Sr. & the late Barbara Cabral Motz.
Rick was a staff sergeant for the U.S. Air Force. He and his wife moved to Newnan from Shreveport, LA, where he was operations supervisor for Yellow Freight.
The memorial service is Saturday, May 19 at 10:30 a.m. at Heatherwood Baptist Church, 721 Shenandoah Blvd., Newnan, with Dr. Joel Dover officiating. 
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Heatherwood Baptist Church Building Fund, 721 Shenandoah Blvd., Newnan, GA 30265, or to the American Cancer Society, 301 Kelly Dr., Suite 3, Peachtree City, GA 30269.

Survivors include, wife, Janet Tolson Motz; children, Hollie Angel Motz, Brittany Lee Motz, Nicolas Ryan Motz; father, Richard H. Motz Sr. & his wife Eunice; step-children, Ashley Gale Digilormo, Leah Rená Digilormo; siblings, Timothy Allen Motz and wife Lynn, Cindy Marie Motz Evans and husband Eric Evans, Andrew Martin Motz and wife Judith; nieces Aimee, Victoria (Tori) and Jordan.
The family would like to thank Dr. Goldklang and MaryAnn with Georgia Cancer Specialists, and Suzanne, Holly and Twanna with Embracing Hospice, for providing wonderful care and love to Rick.
