Gene Ervin Abernathy, 59, of Newnan, Ga., died on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010 at his home in Newnan, Ga. The family will receive visitors Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at McKoon Funeral Home in Newnan. The funeral service is Wednesday, Jan. 27, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Ellis Arnall Darrington, 67, of Newnan, Ga., died Jan. 24, 2010 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Jan. 27, at 1 p.m. at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home. Burial Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Brad Allen Kee, 62, of Newnan, Ga., died Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010. The family will receive friends Thursday, Jan. 28, at McKoon Funeral Home in Newnan. Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 29, at 2 p.m. at Emory Chapel United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Emory Chapel cemetery.

Janiece Leher McCully, 83, of Fayetteville, Ga., died Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010. Graveside services 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, at Westminister Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday 5 to 8 p.m. at Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville Chapel.

Jessie L. Smith, of Newnan, Ga., will be remembered at services Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, 1 p.m., Zion Hill Baptist Church. Instate at 11:30 a.m. Burial Eastview Cemetery. Viewing is Tuesday, 2-8 p.m. at Roscoe Jenkins Funeral Home Inc., Newnan, Ga.
