Death Notices
Charles Edward Nickolson, age 60, of Sharpsburg, Ga., died on Oct. 22, 2009. Mr. Nickolson was cremated and no service is planned at this time. Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home, Newnan, Ga.
Earl Talmadge Smith, 92, of Moreland, died Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 25 in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery in Moreland. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Saturday night.
Jewell Amonds Beasley Wilson, age 83, of Union City, Ga., died Oct. 22, 2009, at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. Graveside services will be held Saturday, Oct. 24 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park at 2 p.m. Family received friends on Friday evening at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home, Newnan. Family will assemble at the funeral home Saturday to leave in procession at 1 p.m.
