Timothy Lamar Barnett, 53, of Newnan, Ga., died Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at Atlanta Medical Center. Funeral service will be Nov. 1 at 3 p.m. at East Newnan Baptist Church, 577 East Gordon Road, Newnan, Ga. McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan.

Bertosha Derring, of Newnan, Ga., will be remembered at funeral services Thursday, Oct. 22 at 1 p.m. at Russell Temple AME Church. Remains placed in state at 11:30 a.m. Burial in Eastview Cemetery. Viewing is Wednesday, Oct. 21 from 2-6 p.m. at Roscoe Jenkins Funeral Home Inc., Newnan, Ga.

Clyde Fowler, of Senoia, Ga., died Monday, Oct. 19, 2009, at his residence. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Roscoe Jenkins Funeral Home Inc., Newnan, Ga.

Laura Mae Goddard, 67, of Fisher Street, Newnan, Ga., died at her residence Monday, Oct. 19, 2009. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 2 p.m. at Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel, Carrollton, Ga. Burial will be in West Georgia Memorial Park.

Clemit R. Harris, 80, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009, at his home on Welcome-Arnco Road. The funeral is Thursday, Oct. 22 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan, Ga. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday at the funeral home, 6-8 p.m.

Virginia Kent Bigler Jones, 75, of Newnan, Ga., died at her home Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 24 at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Newnan. A reception will follow in the church parish hall. McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan, Ga.
