Shirley L. Drake, 73, of Hogansville, Ga., died Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 17 in the chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with burial in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 10 until 11 Saturday morning.
Hughie J. "Jimmie" Duke, 96, Hinesville, Ga., died Thursday, October 15, 2009. Visitation will be 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel, Hinesville. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17 at the funeral home.
Martha Reeves Edgeworth Duncan, 81, of Newnan, Ga., died at her residence Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 16 at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends Thursday evening at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home, Newnan, Ga.
Elizabeth Redwine Fowler of Scottsboro, AL, died Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009. A graveside service will be held Friday, Oct. 16 at 2:30 p.m. at Lewis Redwine Cemetery on Happy Valley Circle north of Newnan. The family will receive friends at McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan, Friday, Oct. 16 from noon until 2 p.m.
Ingrid Latacy Martin, 30, of Hogansville, Ga., died Oct. 12, 2009, in Carrollton, Ga. Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17 at St. Mary United Methodist Church, Hogansville. Thrash and Sons Funeral Home, Hogansville, Ga.
Odella Whitmore, 86, of Hogansville, Ga., died Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 17 in the chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with burial in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 until 7 Friday evening.
The Rev. Hubert L. Worley, 69, of LaGrange, Ga., and former pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church at Grantville, died Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 16 at Faith Baptist Church in LaGrange, with burial in Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange.
