Alfred G. East, 84, of Anniston, Ala., and formerly of Newnan, died Friday, July 11, 2008, at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center in Anniston. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Newnan. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Alice North, 88, of Newnan, died Thursday, July 10, 2008, at Newnan Hospital Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Tracie Crews Norton, 59, of Franklin, died Friday, July 11, 2008. A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. today in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with burial in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
Hazel Elaine Smith, 58, of Newnan, died on July 10, 2008. A graveside service will be held on Monday from Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Newnan. McKoon Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
