Ms. Sandra Nadine Chitwood
Obituary
Ms. Sandra Nadine Chitwood, 62, of Newnan, GA, passed away Jan. 16, 2012.
Ms. Chitwood was born Dec. 18, 1949, to Arnold E. Cheek and Martha E. Calhoun Cheek. She worked as a caregiver at Southland Nursing. She was preceded in death by her parents. Sandra Chitwood is survived by her sons, Rick Chitwood & wife Mary Joe of Isle of Palms, SC, and Jimmy Chitwood & wife Trish of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Emory, Jaeleigh and Rolin Chitwood, all of Isle of Palms, SC, Jacob Chitwood of Dallas, TX; and numerous other family members & friends.
A funeral service was Thursday, Jan. 19 at 2 p.m. at Sharpsburg Baptist Church with Rev. Wallace McAbee officiating. Burial followed at Sharpsburg Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation., www.parkinson.org .
