Mrs. Carol Ogle Bryant, 83, of Harrisburg, NC, died Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at Carolinas Medical Center-Northeast in Concord, NC.
Mrs. Bryant was born Feb. 3, 1928, in LaFayette, AL, daughter of the late Robert Byrum Ogle and Thelma Berry Ogle. A resident of Harrisburg for the past ten years, she was a former resident of Newnan, GA, and was a member of Bible Baptist Church. She was a supporter of Global Scope Ministries and was a loving grandmother, who adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her loving husband of 66 years, Edward C. Bryant of Harrisburg; daughters and sons in-law, Susan and Phillip Coan of Concord, Janet and Marvin Pearce of Tallahassee, FL; brothers, Jack Ogle of Villa Rica and Wayne Ogle of Hiram; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 1, in the chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Dr. Doug Anderson will officiate, with interment in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 until 11 Wednesday morning.
