Mr. Earl Morgan Tucker

Mr. Earl Morgan Tucker, age 73, of Newnan, Georgia, passed away at his home on July 5, 2013. He was born in Albany, NY, and lived in several states in the U.S. with tours in Australia and Turkey while serving for over 21 years in the Air Force. After retiring from the service with the rank of master sergeant and receiving several meritorious service awards, Earl worked for American Satellite Company and eventually moved to Newnan where he lived for 14 years. He was a member of the Resurrection Lutheran Church in Newnan where he was very active in the choir and played an integral part in the daily running of the church. Earl is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Mary Lou Fahrenkopf Tucker of Newnan and his sister, Suzanne Whitney (Craig) of Jacobus, PA. He was father to Andrew Tucker (Rodney Saito), Debra Sierka (Eric), Wanda Mann (Walter) and Bruce Tucker (Carrie), and grandfather to Chloe, Madeline, Camille and Hannah Sierka, Nathan and Lucas Mann, and Nicholas and Alexis Tucker. Earl, a big kid who never grew up was affectionately known as Papa ET; he will be remembered for his sense of humor, love of music and strong family ties. Memorial service with reception to be held on Saturday, July 13 at 11 a.m. at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Newnan. In lieu of flowers, donations in Earl’s name can be made to the Music Ministry of Resurrection Lutheran Church, 1250 Lora Smith Road, Newnan, GA 30265.
