Imogene Hawk Stephens

Imogene Hawk Stephens, age 91, of Newnan, Georgia, passed away on July 5, 2013.

She was born in Heard County, Georgia to the late John Minor and Eugenia (Hardigree) Hawk. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Dyke Stephens and sisters Eva Jones and Sybil Hawk.

Mrs. Stephens worked side by side for many years with her loving husband of 66 years at Stephens General Store. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church.

Mrs. Stephens is survived by her children, Carolyn and husband Joel Neill, Brenda and husband Bill Moulder, Ronald and wife Carol Stephens; grandchildren, Scott Neill, Steve Neill, Danny Stephens, Bonnie Stephens Dailey and Brian Moulder. She is also survived by her brother, Kenneth and wife Johnnie Hawk and six great grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are by McKoon Funeral Home at 38 Jackson Street. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 8, 2013 beginning at 9:00 AM with the funeral service in the McKoon chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Bobby Jones officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
