Mr. Walter Ferrell Norton

Mr. Walter Ferrell Norton, age 70, of Newnan, GA, died July 6, 2012, at his residence from complications from a fall. A native of Moultrie, Georgia, he was born March 20, 1942, and was the son of the late Milton Andrew and Kathleen Saul Norton.

Mr. Norton retired from the United States Army as a staff sergeant. He saw service during the Vietnam Conflict and was awarded a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. Following his military service, he was employed in sales at SouthTowne of Newnan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Elizabeth Boone. Mr. Norton is survived by his wife, Judy Robbins Norton of Newnan. His children are Anna Bost and her husband Rob of Stockbridge, Rhonda Ramey, Ronnie Ramey and Thomas Ramey, all of Newnan.

His grandchildren are Kimi Steele, Trey Ramey, Breian Ramey, Coty Ramey, Chayse Bost, Payton Ramey, Ethan Ramey and Cooper Ramey. Also surviving are his sisters, Melba Warren (and husband J.
