Mr. James William Farmer


Mr. James William Farmer, age 65, of Palmetto, GA, died at Doctor's Hospice on June 16, 2013. He was born in Gasden, Alabama, on Nov. 25, 1947, to the late James Walter Farmer and Sybil Brown Farmer. He was a retired truck driver for Kroger and he enjoyed watching car racing. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Linda Bailey Farmer. 

Surviving are his loving companion, JoAnn Pritchett; sons, Jimmy Farmer and Jason Farmer of Palmetto; daughter, Debbie Caldwell (Jeff) of Chatsworth; brothers, Billy Farmer of Grantville and Charlie Farmer of Newnan; sisters, Faye Lynn Otwell of Mableton and Shirley Shoemake of Carrollton; 5 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel with Rev. John Powers officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, 11 a.m. until service time.
