Mrs. Esther Mae Levell

Funeral service for Mrs. Esther Mae Levell will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013, at noon from the Sellers Smith Chapel with Rev. Larry Evans, eulogist. Interment in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, Grantville, GA.

Esther Mae Levell passed away at her home in Jonesboro, GA, on Sunday May 5, 2013. She was born March 25, 1933, in Meriwether County to the late Corsby and Elsie Wheelous. She joined Macedonia Baptist Church at an early age and served faithfully. She also attended World Changers Church with her family regularly.

Esther was a graduate of Luthersville High School on June 1, 1954. She worked tirelessly as a homemaker, and retired from Newnan Hospital in Newnan.

Esther leaves to cherish her memory her children, Angelyn Levell-Smith and Deborah Levell; grandchildren, Christina Levell, Christopher Smith, Chrystal Smith, Monica Levell and Spencer Levell; siblings, Mrs. Carolyn Rosser, Grantville, GA, Mrs. Ruth Evans, Newnan, GA, Mr. Garnett Wheelous, Macon, GA.

Because she was so strong in life we know her spirit will always be with us, caring for us and loving us. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, May 10, 6 - 8 p.m.
